In 2022, Harrison County REC's board of directors voted unanimously to begin a scholarship program now known as the "Light the Way to your Future" scholarship awarding one student from each of the seven schools within our service territory a $1,000 scholarship to help them begin their journey to their new career. Commitment to Community is one of the seven cooperative principles that HCREC adheres to and as a cooperative we are proud to give back to the future of our communities.
Please join us in honoring and congratulating these students for their academic achievements and for receiving the 2025 Light the Way to Your Future Scholarship.
