Operations Summer Help

Students can assist our operations department by shadowing lineman, staking, metering, and electricians.

Iowa Youth Tour

HCREC selects one student delegate each year to travel on a week-long, all expense paid trip to Washington DC to learn more about the Cooperative business model and being a leader in their communities. Registration is open in January and the Tour takes place in June.

Iowa Youth Leadership Academy

Students interested in public service and leadership can attend three webinars to learn more about advocacy, electric cooperative careers, and the co-op business model. The Iowa Youth Leadership Academy series is available in October with registration open in August.
